Chris Holden

CEO

Chris began he career and a licensed EMT working with Richland County EMS in Columbia, SC. With a vision to set a higher standard for emergency medical services Chris founded First Priority Medical Transport in June of 2012. He currently serves as President and CEO of First Priority Medical Transport and its 65+ member staff with 12 state-of-art ambulances.

Chris's main role is to oversee all logistical and structural plan for all implemented services and day-to-day operations. With the goal of keeping transport services and customer service at the highest level possible, First Priority Medical Transport continually provides ongoing medical training and monthly in-service training for all EMTs/Paramedics and administrative employees. Ultimately First Priority Medical Transport strives to give timely and best patient care to every patient they transport and also provide the safest and best work environment to all the employees and staff.



Brenda Bush

Brenda Bush, Cayce SC native, is First Priority's Office Manager/ Human Resources Manager. With more than 25 years in the medical field, she entered the EMS side when she joined First Priority in 2014. She enjoys welcoming new employees to the First Priority family and has helped our great company grow from approximately 25 employees to 60 employees.

Brenda organizes and maintains the needs for the growing company and employees while also coordinating with the surrounding areas to be involved in community events. It is the pride in First Priority, it's employees and the impact they make on her home community that inspires and motivates Brenda every day to help the company continue on it's path. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, exploring nature and fishing.


Michael Hall

Director of EMS

Michael has been in the EMS profession for 20 years, spending most of his career in a high volume 911 EMS with 10 plus years as a medical educator and executive leader. Michael joined the First Priority Family in 2017 where he currently serves in the position of Agency Director/CEO. As such, Michael is able to share his vision for clinical excellence and compassionate care with our entire organization.


Zach Dycus

Zach Dycus joined the First Priority team in 2014 as an EMT. He moved into the Senior Leader position in 2015 and joined the management team in February of 2016 as the Chief Operating Officer. He attained his National Registry EMT certification in 2010.

Zach is a member of the 2017 class of Leadership Lexington County. His leadership style focuses on a positive family culture within the company, integrity and professionalism.

As Employee Experience Director his main focus is to take care of our employees the way our employees take care of our patients. He enjoys camping, hiking, sports, and is a proud husband and father.








David Murphy

Director for Certification and Education

"Murphy" as he is known to his peers, has been in the EMS profession for more than 30 years. He joined the First Priority Family in 2015, and in 2021 began serving as the Director of First Priority Academy, the education and certification division at First Priority Medical Transport. In June of 2021, Murphy led the inaugural in-house EMT Class as a part of the "Apprenticeship Carolina Program." He is an NR Paramedic, SC EMT Instructor, and holds instructor credentials in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, AMLS, Stop-the-Bleed, and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Midlands Technical College's EMS Training Program. Murphy is an avid player of board games, especially chess. The proud father of three girls, he and his wife Jennifer enjoy Camping, hammocking, and a variety of watersports.
