Our Story

“On June 4th 2012 I set out to change the private transport industry.”

From a very young age I was fascinated by the medical field and knew that when I grew up I wanted to be involved in it in one way or another.

When I started high school, I was given a unique opportunity to attend Carolina Medical Academy, a magnet school that focused on health care. During my junior and senior year, I attended Greenville Technical College’s associate in EMS Management degree program, it was here that I realized how rewarding I found being able to help others, and decided to make it my career choice.

After high school, I continued to work in EMS and pursued further education in search of exactly what job in healthcare I wanted. Studying Biology at USC and nursing at Midlands Tech furthered my skills and knowledge in medicine but I had yet to find my exact purpose.

During my studies, I worked in a county (911) EMS service. I was able to see so many facets of medicine, from first response, to ER, to definitive care such as cath labs.

One day I was standing in the ER and overheard the nurses complaining about private services, their lack of professionalism, patient care, and customer service. I realized this is a wide spread problem across this industry. For that reason, they were not respected. County and private services have the same licenses and same training. Why was there quality of service so different?

I knew this was something I could change. I knew this was my chance to make a difference in something. I knew this was my calling.

On June 4th 2012 I set out to change the private transport industry. I not only wanted to introduce professionalism, exceptional patient care, and customer service, I wanted to change the culture. Culture is a word not known in the 911 services. I created a work environment that was like being a part of a family. I am building a place for team members to achieve personal growth, grow in their skillsets, and grow in their leadership abilities. A place where they can take ownership in their workplace and it isn’t “just a job”.

We have been so blessed to be able to achieve the success that we have in such a short amount of time. With the vision and the desire to be the best in the industry, we have assembled the finest administrative staff, drivers, dispatchers, EMT’s and Paramedics in the Midlands. We are setting the standard for this industry. We strive to improve the quality of care for our patients. Every day we look forward to coming to work to care for others when they need it the most.
